I think denim is an absolutely necessary fashion staple. It can give anyone a refreshing, lively look. The best part is that it isn't going out of style anytime soon! I love denim because it comes in so many different colors and washes which gives you a variety of ways to compose outfits for any occasion.

I've teamed up with Old Navy to take a few of their denim items out for a spin. What better way to do it, than to do it with my two favorite people? My family! We had so much fun being able to put together these outfits and taking them out on a satur-date with us!

Here, I'm wearing their cuffed denim shortalls
I absolutely LOVE them! They're comfortable, stretchy, and it fits my figure to my liking! It's a simple, yet bold look. You can pair it with any color top and you can go from casual dressy, to just plain casual with this item.

My daughter Jolie, is wearing a light-wash denim vest
It went along with her flowy blouse and white shorts.  It was light, comfortable, and the wash-style made it easy to pair with many of her other outfits.

My husband John, is wearing a rinsed denim jacket
It's light, yet warm enough for chilly nights. Like most denim garments, it goes well with just about anything! You can pair it with bold colored pants, and a nice button up if you're looking for a more casual-dressy attire.

Old Navy's denim line is perfect for summer. Many of their items can be worn up until fall/winter. Which is great since you won't feel like your money is going to something that can only be worn a few months in the year. Their denim selection ranges in many different styles. From boyfriend jeans to boot cut. They have tons of different kinds of jeans to choose from that fits all body types! And the best part? It's affordable and the quality is great! Definitely something worth investing in!
